43 ‘When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, “I will return to the house I left.” When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.’[Matthew 12:43-45]
We get "infected" with unclean spirits as children and carry these unclean spirits throughout life because we are unaware of them hence we do nothing to get rid of them. Unclean spirits take instructions from the devil. Their mission is to block your path the Savior, Jesus Christ.To distract you with sideshows and weaken your resolve to fight the Battle of Life.
Hear what the Psalmist says in 37:25:
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. [Psalms 37: 25]
It means God, the the God of Israel, looks after the righteous. But the devil, God's enemy number one, seeks to wreck God's plan for these same righteous ones, the precious sheep of Christ who is the SHEPHERD of Shepherds. What better way that to hook the children of the righteous in their early childhood with filthy spirits? Parents may unaware how important it is to DEDICATE newborns to the LORD through the hands of a righteous minister of the LORD. Then cover them with prayer, which is the way the righteous do battle. The LORD does not slumber, nor ignore the cries of the righteous.
Read Psalms 34. Here is one verse from this very powerful word:
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them. [Psalms 34: 7]
Unclean spirits can cause havoc in a child's life especially at adolescence. He or she may acquire deeply disturbing habits that create bondage to sin - deeply ingrained. The enemy knows that the wages of sin is death and that unrepented sin is not forgiven. His aim is to send the child to hell and to mock the righteous parents in the same way they mocked the Messiah at Calvary.
Thus it becomes a terrible lifetime burden from which the person may never be set free. A spiritual tragedy, hard to fathom for the unschooled. But clear and straightforward where the Holy Spirit shines to reveal what the devil has wraped in the darkness of deception.
May His light shine and may His enemies be scattered. Ask the Spirit of God to reveal your enemies to you that you may name them before Him and that He may set you free by fighting your battles. He triumphed on the cross and made a public spectacle of the enemy. Approach the cross and you will perceive this glorious victory - your victory through Christ Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved except Christ. Seek Him. He is the answer.
